Description: Our client (Northampton based) are seeking a 2nd Line Support Analyst to be responsible for ensuring all allocated incidents, changes and work requests are recorded and progressed in line with SLA, ISF & client requirements. The person will also be involved in designing, defining, implementing and supporting solutions primarily through project work. Technical knowledge to include; HP/Compaq Servers, SAN’s, Desktops, Laptops, Cisco Switches, Routers, IP Configurations, Windows XP, NT, 2000 (Server), 2003 (Server), SQL (Server), Terminal Server & Citrix, Cisco Pix Configurations, RAID Configurations, Clustering, VPN, Apple Mac G5, Panther & Tiger Operating System, Infrastructure Monitoring & Support Tools (HP Openview, Netcool etc).

You must have an understanding of SLA and ITIL and have 2-3 years experience in a similar role. MCSE and CCNA/CCNP qualifications are desirable but not essential. The role will also involve travel to UK and European sites.
